With twenty years experience as an educator, Gemma Pannell is a highly skilled practitioner, with expertise across a range of pedagogies and a passion for supporting young people to excel, particularly those with diverse learning needs.

Sage Education Consultancy is based on the premise that each child deserves equitable access to education, and it is in this space that Gemma would like to offer her services.

Gemma has successfully led schools in the areas of NCCD, Inclusive Education, Literacy, EALD, Trauma Informed teaching and Culturally Responsive Pedagogies. She is now eager to empower educators in other contexts to feel confident and capable, in these important aspects of their work.

Gemma aims to work in collaboration with leaders and educators to facilitate best practice, and to have a deep understanding of how to appropriately support each of the students in their care.

She has successfully implemented comprehensive whole-school approaches, with a culturally responsive lens, striving to ensure consistency and efficiency within an organisation. Gemma specialises in identifying key areas where processes can be refined and improved, aiming to create a more streamlined and positive impact on all stakeholders
